Hello,My name is Miles, chef at the Beacon. I am currently looking for a Sous Chef. The Sous Chef is a position we are grooming to becoming a Senior Sous chef as we have multiple restaurants. This position will be working alongside the Executive Chef.The culinary team we have here is very passionate about the food we put out. We believe in a work and life balance. Part of that work life balance means we give our team a "Fixed schedule", so you can plan your life like everybody else.The duties and responsibilities of a Jr Sous Chef include but not limited to,
- Reporting directly to the Chef
- Making sure the line is well stocked and organized
- Ensuring the closing procedures are met according to the kitchen standards
- Learning from the Chef and furthering their culinary knowledgeWe do require a few things from you
- 3 to 5 years line experience
- Good knife skills- Willing to learn- Willing to work and push when the team is in need of them
- MUST reside in the Niagara Region- MUST have a vehicle- Must have flexible hoursJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $47,000.00-$55,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:
