Duties
Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
Oversee food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards in compliance with food safety regulations.
Prepare high-quality dishes consistently, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
Train and mentor team members on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and service standards.
Ensure timely serving of dishes during service hours while maintaining quality control.
Support restaurant management in maintaining a positive work environment and excellent customer service.
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Experience in restaurant management or hospitality industry preferred.
Excellent communication skills and ability to serve guests professionally.
Hands-on experience with food industry operations, including menu development and inventory control.
