The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and hospitality, with a focus on team management and leadership. As a Sous Chef, you will assist in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to the overall culinary experience of our guests.
What You'll Do:
Work closely with the Head Chef to oversee day-to-day kitchen operations
Lead and support the team during service, maintaining efficiency and quality
Uphold and enforce food safety, cleanliness, and organizational standards
Contribute to menu development, seasonal planning, and tastings
Assist with ordering, inventory, and supplier communication
Mentor junior cooks and foster a culture of learning, respect, and teamwork
Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen staff and coordinating food preparation activities.
Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the kitchen.
Train and mentor kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and best practices.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during meal periods.
Address any kitchen issues or challenges promptly to maintain operational efficiency.
Who You Are:
An experienced cook ready to step into a leadership role--or an existing sous chef looking for a new challenge
Confident managing a busy service while staying calm and solutions-focused
Passionate about Spanish cuisine, seasonal ingredients, and creative cooking
Committed to professionalism, communication, and continuous improvement
