Brasserie Bernard, un bistro francais classique situe a Outremont, recherche un sous-chef fiable, organise et bilingue pour joindre l'equipe de gestion de cuisine.

Responsabilites



Diriger les services de brunch du samedi et dimanche, ainsi que les services du lundi et mardi soir Superviser l'equipe de cuisine et assurer un service efficace et constant Garantir la qualite, la constance et la bonne execution des plats Participer a la preparation, au dressage et au respect des recettes Aider a la gestion des inventaires, a la rotation des stocks et a la reduction des pertes Signaler les bris d'equipement ou les manques de produits Former les cuisiniers et aides-cuisiniers; soutenir l'integration des nouveaux employes Communiquer clairement et respectueusement avec les equipes de cuisine et de salle Maintenir un environnement de travail propre, securitaire et bien organise

Exigences



2 a 3 ans d'experience en cuisine professionnelle, incluant des responsabilites de supervision Experience en brunch : un atout important Capacite a gerer des services a haut volume avec calme et efficacite Bilinguisme francais/anglais obligatoire Excellentes aptitudes en communication, organisation et travail d'equipe

Brasserie Bernard, a classic French bistro in Outremont, is looking for a reliable, organized, and bilingual Sous Chef to join our kitchen leadership team.

Responsibilities



Lead Saturday/Sunday brunch services and Monday/Tuesday evening services Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth, efficient service Maintain consistency, quality, and proper execution of dishes Support food preparation, plating standards, and recipe accuracy Assist with inventory, stock rotation, and waste reduction Report equipment issues or shortages Help train cooks and prep staff; support onboarding of new team members Communicate clearly and respectfully with BOH and FOH teams Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements



2-3 years of professional kitchen experience, including some leadership responsibility Brunch experience is a strong asset Ability to handle high-volume service calmly and efficiently Fully bilingual (French/English) Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Remuneration: 25,00$ a 27,00$ par heure
