Responsibilities

Assist in supervising kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of food preparation Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards Oversee food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations Manage food inventory, order supplies, and maintain proper storage practices Support the training and development of team members, fostering a collaborative work environment Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with safety guidelines Collaborate with restaurant management to implement menu changes and improve service quality Serve as a leader during shifts, stepping in for the Head Chef when necessary

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or food service setting Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques Excellent team management and leadership abilities In-depth knowledge of restaurant management operations and hospitality standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on serving guests professionally Demonstrated experience in kitchen experience, restaurant experience, or related roles within the hospitality sector

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
