We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Manager to join our team at Holiday Inn Ottawa East. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and food services, contributing significantly to our commitment to guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure high-quality food production and service. Manage kitchen staff, providing leadership and training to foster a collaborative environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness. Plan menus that cater to diverse dietary needs while optimizing cost efficiency. Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering processes effectively. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate catering and banquet services as needed. Implement training programs for staff on food handling and preparation techniques. Maintain a positive guest experience by addressing any concerns promptly.

Qualifications

Proven experience in kitchen management or a similar role in the hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Experience in menu planning and food production techniques. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
