Construction Materials Purchasing Officer
to join our growing construction team. This role is responsible for sourcing, ordering, and managing building materials to support ongoing construction and renovation projects.Key Responsibilities
Purchase construction materials, equipment, and supplies based on project requirements Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and confirm delivery schedules Prepare purchase orders and track orders to ensure timely delivery to job sites Coordinate with project managers and site teams to meet project timelines and budgets Maintain accurate purchasing records, invoices, and supplier information Monitor material quality, specifications, and cost control
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
required (Construction Management, or related field preferred)Minimum 2 years of procurement or purchasing experience in the construction industry
Ability to communicate inMandarin or Cantonese
is required Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Familiarity with construction materials and industry suppliers Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic purchasing systemsPreferred Skills
Experience working with commercial or renovation construction projects Ability to work independently and handle multiple orders simultaneously Strong communication and coordination skills
