Job Description

We are currently looking for a curious, highly self-motivated individual with an aptitude for technology and design thinking to join our IT Team in the role of Solution Designer/Architect, working in our organization\xe2\x80\x99s largest ERP ecosystem. The solution designer/Architect\xe2\x80\x99s ability to create a technical vision from business goals allows them to act as a catalyst for change within the enterprise, in turn delivering more value to the organization. They consider implications to the business when applying new technology to existing environments, fostering seamless alignment between solutions.

A critical aspect of this role is to understand how core ERP is used across the organization, the multiple interconnections with other applications in the ecosystem and the complex integrations to other system inside and outside our organization.

You will be responsible for all aspects of solution design in a JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environment. The environment includes: JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2; WebMethods & SSIS integrations, Create!Form; DSI, and Loftware.

Your Focus:

• Identify and select the appropriate system solutions with consideration for functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure, and performance against business objectives
• Manage delivery of smaller initiatives; provide technical oversight for larger initiatives
• Estimate cost and effort to support business cases for IT projects and initiatives
• Align solutions to strategy, new application functionality to drive business value
• Facilitate group workshops and meetings with business analysts and business stakeholders
• Recommend opportunities for improvement in our systems and processes you support
• Provide coaching and mentoring to team members and colleagues

Qualifications:

• 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working as designer/architect with integrated solutions in a large complex environment
• Post-secondary education or university degree
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a technical environment
• Knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards is considered an asset
• Experience managing small to medium size projects and initiatives
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
