Today, I am recruiting for one of my great clients located in downtown Montreal, a security solutions architect. - Actively contribute to the feasibility, design and implementation phases of development and integration projects for security solutions, while respecting architectural principles.
- Manage solution testing and commissioning of cloud computing environments necessary for system delivery.
- Participate in the diagnosis and resolution of complex operational problems as needed.
- Encourage the reuse of proven solutions to optimize the quality of services and operations.
- Act as an expert consultant in IT security solutions and coach to senior management and development employees.
- Conduct cybersecurity monitoring and propose solutions to strengthen our security posture.
- Ensure the quality of the documentation of the architectural alignments proposed as part of the implementation of the information technology strategic plan.
- Collaborate with outsourcing service providers to ensure the delivery of efficient solutions.
- Participate in risk and cost/benefit analyses.- Good understanding of market security standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO, SOC, PCI DSS, CSA, etc., and their application in business.
- Hands-on experience in assessing security risks and their mitigation when designing solution architectures.
- Great expertise in "Zero Trust" concepts as well as their deployment.
- Experience in solution architecture in public cloud environments such as Azure, GCP or AWS.
- Relevant professional experience in security technologies and practices, including intrusion detection, authentication mechanisms, enterprise security tools, penetration testing, etc.,
- Ability to evaluate, develop, implement, optimize and document a wide range of security technologies and processes, including secure application development, data protection, cryptography, key management, security management identities and access (IAM), network security within SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.
- Working knowledge of modern authentication mechanisms compliant with industry standards such as OAuth, OpenID, etc.
- Knowledge of API and orchestration best practices for cloud-based services.
- Knowledge of network security and applicable solutions, including IPS, IDS, SIEM, NGFW, proxies, gateways, Wifi, segmentation, micro-segmentation, PCI, encryption, HSM, GIA, Cryptography, End Point, Cloud, etc.
- Knowledge of systems security, including operating systems, database management systems, hardening, global policy deployment, BYOD, NGAV, EDR, security assessment update, etc.
- Good knowledge of development and CI/CD concepts in the industrialization and deployment of business software solutions in a modern environment, using tools such as Git, SonarQube, Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitOps, Jenkins, Concourse CI, etc.
- Good command of programming and scripting languages \xe2\x80\x8b\xe2\x80\x8bsuch as Java, CSharp, Python, Bash, Powershell, advanced SQL, etc.
