Role:
The Solutions Architect reports to the Director, Architecture and Integration and works closely with many different types of profiles like Business Analyst, Configurator, Project Manager, technical team, etc. The incumbent will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-grade integration solutions for our global clients. This role requires deep expertise in java or .net based architecture, enterprise integration patterns, and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security in mission-critical insurance systems.
Your Day with Equisoft:
Design and implement integration strategies for complex, multi-system enterprise solutions, including deployment, testing, and infrastructure optimization
Define software architecture patterns and recommend technology solutions aligned with client business objectives and technical constraints
Create comprehensive technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and design specifications following industry-standard methodologies (C4, UML, ArchiMate)
Ensure solutions meet performance, security, compliance, and scalability requirements through architecture reviews and quality gates.
Orient and coordinate various stakeholder groups (architects, team leaders, project managers, etc.) during implementation projects
Define and oversee testing strategies including integration, performance, and load testing to ensure quality deliverables
Participate and guide inter-system integration strategies by following strategic and standard guidelines
Support the company and our customers in the implementation of continuous integration practices (CICD)
Ensure a watchdog role to understand and anticipate trends in our areas of expertise, and make recommendations in terms of developing best practices
Requirements:
Technical
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology or College Diploma combined to 3 years of relevant experience
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role & 10 years total in the development (Java or .Net)
Demonstrated expertise in systems architecture, and experience working as an architect on large-scale projects
Experience as an architect in inter-software integration projects and knowledge of commonly used standards and patterns (SOAP, REST, synchronism, asynchronism, message brokers, event threads, etc.)
Experience as an architect in message modeling projects (XML, JSON, canonical models, mapping, enrichment, etc.)
Experience as a solution architect in IT security technologies projects (authentication, authorization, SSO, WS-Security, OAuth, SAML).
Demonstrated experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and automated testing frameworks
Being able to travel for work in the world, mostly the Caribbean
Knowledge of the French & English Language (spoken and written)
