The Solution Architect is responsible to:

  • Deliver innovative business consulting relevant to LifeWorks products and services, perform business process design and make recommendations on systems integration, and application design.
  • Lead the review of functional requirement presented for sales opportunities to actively consult business leaders on the proposed solutions, explaining the rationale behind choices and making modifications to the solution when required.
  • Identify solution gaps and actively work with product managers/feature teams to assess product enhancement opportunity or alternate solutions.
  • Proactively recommend options based on needs, risk vs. cost vs. benefits and other impacts on solution decisions to management.
  • Coordinate the development sizing and summarize for leadership review and evaluation.
  • Drive the Gap Analysis & Definition phase of implementation projects and consult with the product managers/feature teams during the system design phase of the application development.
  • Investigate and develop solutions that leverage Lifeworks\xe2\x80\x99 capabilities and offer high stakeholder value.
  • In constructing the ideal solution, collaborate with internal teams to investigate procedural and technology options, while balancing Lifeworks\xe2\x80\x99 overall ability to deliver.
  • Develop and disseminate solution architecture documentation and direction to clients and the internal organization.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in System Implementation, Software Business Analysis, Product Development, Business Process Definition within the HR Outsourcing industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years working in an HR service delivery environment
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Information Technology, Human Resource Management, Commerce or equivalent experience.
  • Solution subject matter expertise in the space of Defined Benefit Pension and/or Health Benefits administration delivery; through understanding and knowledge of available products and services.
  • Problem solving with variety of tools to draw upon i.e. Negotiation skills, design thinking, lean six sigma, innovation, balanced scorecard strategy management,
  • Abstract thinking and ability to assimilate and use new knowledge quickly and work with a high tolerance for ambiguity.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements in fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Communication facilitation, strong verbal and written communication to all levels so that there is clarity, direction and alignment.
  • People leadership, relationship building and influencing.
