Position: Solution Architect
Location: Toronto, Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)
Job Type: Full-timeOur client, is looking for a highly skilled Solution Architect to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of business processes. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that align with business needs while ensuring scalability, security, and performance. You will work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, developers, and other architects to deliver high-quality solutions that drive value.Position Summary:Our client is seeking a Solution Architect with a strong background in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), ideally Oracle. The successful candidate will play a critical role in business architecture, planning, and delivery, working closely with the Systems & Applications team, which consists of developers, BAs, SMEs, and QAs. As the organization prepares to go live with their systems in November/December, the Solution Architect will ensure a seamless transition and integration of applications across departments.Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design and implementation of ERP solutions, with a focus on Oracle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful planning and delivery of various business systems.
- Oversee the business architecture aspects of system setup and deployment.
- Provide expertise on additional applications, such as Document Management (SharePoint), Inventory Management, Maintenance Systems, and more.
- Ensure system readiness for the organization\'s rail operations transition in January.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align IT solutions with business needs and objectives.
- Lead and mentor developers, BAs, SMEs, and other team members within the Systems & Applications team.Qualifications:- Extensive experience working with ERP systems, with a preference for Oracle.
- Strong understanding of business architecture and IT planning.
- Experience with Document Management Systems, Inventory Management Systems, and other enterprise applications.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and lead teams to deliver effective IT solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical language into business context.
