New Dawn Energy Solutions is a dynamic energy technology company based in Markham, Ontario. We are currently looking for self-motivated 309A electrician to work with our growing company. The successful candidate will be working with our installation and engineering team in solar, storage, electric vehicle charging and other projects in residential and commercial settings. As New Dawn Energy team member you will work as a team to coordinate and install renewable energy, electrical charging and other projects at our customers\xe2\x80\x99 facilities across Ontario. A minimum of one year experience as a journeyperson in residential and commercial electric work is required. Responsibilities: -Able to work independently and efficiently Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations Perform installation, repair, and service of various types of equipment Identify electrical, environmental, and other safety hazards at the installation sites and take necessary safety measures to adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Plan and coordinate activities associated with work, worksite, and material Identify methods for laying out, orienting, and mounting to ensure efficient installation of electrical systems. Ensure systems are installed in accordance with codes and standards using drawings, schematics, and instructions. Determine appropriate locations for all system equipment, disconnect and grounding devices. Install required labels on solar system components and hardware. Ensure the customers and their properties are respected and interact courteously Activate the systems and verify system functionality and conformity. Innovate new ideas and improvements to optimize the installation materials and time Complete site checks, clean up, and report the progress at the end of each day\'s work Qualifications and Skills 309A Electricians License with a minimum of one year experience. Ability to complete tasks assigned professionally, efficiently in a timely manner Must be reliable, punctual, and pay attention to detail. Possess strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license with a good driving record Ability to take and give directions and instructions Must be able to read and understand drawings, sketches, plans, and equipment manuals. Applicants selected for the work must possess the following mandatory, valid training certificates before onboarding: Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platform Worker Health & Safety Awareness WHMIS Must be a member in good standing with Skilled Trades Ontario (formerly OCOT).
