, which supports youth employment in Canada's growing green economy. The successful candidate will assist in planning, organizing, and delivering solar and MEP projects while contributing to a more sustainable energy future.
Duties
Lead the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of solar and MEP-related projects.
Develop detailed project plans and timelines, tracking progress to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
Coordinate with design, engineering, and construction teams to maintain accurate and efficient project workflows.
Manage and supervise project resources, including materials, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Collaborate with clients to understand project objectives, provide regular updates, and address concerns proactively.
Identify and mitigate project risks by implementing effective risk management strategies.
Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, including financial updates, schedules, and milestones.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
Oversee and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and as-built drawings.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in construction, electrical, or renewable energy projects is an asset.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management tools.
Knowledge of solar energy systems is a strong asset, but training will be provided.
