Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, construction, and experience with solar panel installation. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, ensuring that solar systems are installed efficiently and safely. The Solar Installer will collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality installations while adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.

Duties

Install solar panels on rooftops and other structures according to blueprints and schematics. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as forklifts for installation tasks. Conduct fixture installations and ensure all components are securely mounted and functioning properly. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and best practices.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of electrical systems, including high voltage, low voltage, and NEC regulations. Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics related to solar installations. Experience in construction site environments is essential. Familiarity with roofing techniques and safety measures is preferred. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and operate forklifts safely. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required. A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites. Pay: $17.27-$33.85 per hour
