The Team

Financial Crimes and Operational Risk Engineering team (FCORE) is a technology organization supporting the bank\xe2\x80\x99s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) efforts. We are a large and complex organization supporting an application with global user base.
The Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Development, the Programmer Analyst Advisory will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Oracle-based applications, as well as providing design solutions, code reviews, integration, testing, and deployment.

Is this role right for you?

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle-based applications that meet the business requirements and user expectations.
  • Work closely with project leads and Business Systems Analysts to plan and work on next-in-priority technical items
  • Technical design, code reviews, deployment, strong coding standards for efficiency
  • Development activities for projects assigned (including related sub-projects)
  • Collaborate with other developers, testers, architects, etc. to deliver high-quality products
  • Test, debug, troubleshoot, and optimize code performance
  • Document code and system design, and enforce proper documentation practices


What You Will Bring to Succeed

Must have:
  • Oracle FCCM (Mantas) experience from the development perspective
  • 5-7 years of experience in software development environment
  • SQL hands on experience: writing, optimizing, reviewing SQL code/queries (3 years minimum_
  • Excellent understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Proficiency with Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., Jira, Jenkins, Gradle, Bitbucket, Artifactory etc.)
  • Experience with following technologies (2 years minimum):
o Apache/Tomcat
o Linux
o Oracle 12/19 Databases
  • Must possess proven interpersonal, communication (verbal/written/presentation) and negotiation skills to build consensus and obtain cooperation from both users and senior management.
  • Understanding of waterfall and agile project management practices
Nice to have:
  • Either AML subject matter experience or experience with Oracle Mantas/FCCM or other AML applications
