Who We Are Looking For:

Sowingo is in the market for a Python Data engineer who specializes in efficiency and optimization and is passionate about building amazing platforms. You may have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience developing web applications and services with the ability to write robust, efficient and maintainable code. You have a strong track record of overcoming technical challenges. Familiarity with SQL, Flask, AWS, Docker, GIT, Linux, Redis. Experience with developing ETL pipelines, analytical reports, and building RESTful APIs. We are looking for someone who will be able to work alongside our team of engineers and take Sowingo to new heights as we continue to grow.

Responsibilities include:

Participating and designing ETL jobs Performing reports and database CRUD operations Delivering well-documented projects and source code Testing and staging for production releases Participating in all aspects of the software development cycle Providing ownership & driving projects to completion Coordinating and participating in quality control to ensure deliveries are met Collaborating with design to create optimized future specifications
