We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer Lead to join us to build both consumer and business-facing web apps spanning industries and geographies. • Develop an early-stage product within a fast-paced and dynamic development team.
• Evaluate technologies to identify opportunities, and best solutions, that can be used to strengthen our technology platform and development practices
• Interface with product managers, designers, architect, and other stakeholders to understand features and develop plans for building them
• Perform peer code review; onboard and mentor new software engineers, review code and enforce coding standards
• Write tests for your code and ensure your solutions are rock-solid
• Provide guidance related to the technical design of new applications/systems and architecture. Contribute to proof-of-concept and feasibility analysis.
• Be a proponent of Scrum/Agile methodology, adopting interactive approach to support frequent release of high-quality features.
• Balance priorities between new features, improvement requests, and bugfixes to support active customers
• Work with Product, Release, and QA teams to ensure timely delivery of updates and plan releases
• Support and mentor a team of engineers and ensure that they are empowered to do good work

Skills and experience we value

• 5+ years of professional experience with front-end web software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Experience with Front End frameworks like React and Next JS
• Experience in working with RESTful APIs and applications using JavaScript
• Work with an existing design system to iterate quickly on new features for our web application
• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, functional programming, data structures and algorithms
• Ability to learn and adapt to new, complex development environments
• Ability to analyze interface mockups in Figma and accurately render designs in code
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional team members
• Solid coding practices including good design documentation, unit testing, peer code reviews, and a preference for agile methods
• Analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and strong team ethics
• Experience with highly scaled, highly available, highly performant, and secure digital platforms
• Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
