Mariner Innovations is seeking Intermediate and Senior Software Developers with 3-5 years’ experience in Java Development. As a Software Developer at Mariner, you will be responsible for client-based projects and, in collaboration with our delivery and sales teams, you will deliver best of breed solutions to new and existing customers. This position is working mostly doing the back end development (75%). Responsibilities include:

• Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs.
• Development of new features and integrations for a variety of internal and external business platforms.
• Involvement in requirement sessions to help determine solutions.
• Responsible for technical documentation with an increasing focus on functional documentation.
• Identifies issues and risks.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in computer science, engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ experience working in software development
• 3-5 years’ experience in Java Development
• Experience with Springboot
• Experience with Postgres or SQL, MySQL
• Experience with front-end development in JavaScript using React, Angular or Backbone.js
• Experience with Kubernetes Single Node is strongly preferred.
• Experience working in Agile is considered an asset
• Experience within a consulting or client facing role is considered an asset.
