Position Description


Description: High level Scope:

• Client's Team is currently working on Policy DSC to Nokia NPC platform consolidation. In current system customers are directly provisioned to LDAP using existing IT WSDL/APIs. In Future mode, plan is to develop an abstraction/interface between IT WSDL/APIs and the new LDAP system (PingID) that interacts with PCRF element in wireline CORE network.

Skillset we are looking for:

• Experienced developer who is familiar with Open source development framework includes SpringBoot & java.
• Hands on experience with REST API, WSDL,SQL & oracle DB schema, JSON, XML & managing code gitlab.
• Test driven development, with exposure to script automation.
• Project duration: 6 Months, starting Mid-End of August.

Required qualifications:

• Strong written and spoken English
• Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience
• 4 years of hands-on experience with software development
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of designing REST APIs
• Strong knowledge and experience developing on Java programming language
• Experience with Open source development framework includes SpringBoot & java
• Hands on experience with REST API, WSDL,SQL & oracle DB schema, JSON, XML & managing code gitlab.
• Test driven development, with exposure to script automation
• Good understanding of micro-service architecture
• Good knowledge of Virtualized network functions deployed on RHEL Openstack environment
• Understanding of Core network systems and protocols such as Radius Authentication, LDAP,
• Experience working in a Scrum team
• Experience collaborating and integrating with 3rd party vendors to develop a common solution
• Experience in finding innovative solutions to technical challenges at a telecom / mobile core network

Responsibilities:

• Review documentations to understand the existing implementation
• Collaborate with the business and partner vendors teams on technical requirements
• Discuss, understand and document requirements and scope for API dvelopment
• Develop an abstraction layer / API interface between IT and LDAP systems
• Perform tests to validate solution E2E, and support in automated verification where possible
• Participate in deep technical discussions with software engineers and network specialists
• Support in documentation and team knowledge transfer
