Duties & Responsibilities:



Research and analysis on social sciences, environmental policy, or regulatory projects and documenting results Collaborate on business development activities, including preparing proposals and developing new client relationships Engage with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including government agencies, Indigenous communities, project proponents, and the public Apply your creative problem-solving skills to real-world issues in sectors like energy, mining, and natural resources

Requirements:



Undergraduate degree in social sciences, environmental studies, natural resources management, economics, business, or a related discipline (master's degree preferred) Experience and interest in conducting research on a variety of topics including social sciences or environmental policy Experience with qualitative and quantitative social research methods, including interviews and surveys Excellent written and verbal communication skills Enthusiastic about working in an interdisciplinary team setting Strong commitment to safety, including following established health and safety protocols

Desirable qualities:



Experience or familiarity with Canva, other design programs, and social media Experience working with Indigenous communities, organizations, and governments Prior work experience or familiarity with the energy, mining, and forestry sectors Personable and interested in building partnerships with external organizations and clients Language skills in French, Anishinaabemowin, Cree, or other Indigenous languages

Pay: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
