POSITION LOCATION / WORK ARRANGEMENT:

The designated worksite for this position is the Toronto, Ontario OSFI Office. However, the employee may work from the Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Vancouver office.



OSFI's hybrid model includes telework and mandatory onsite presence. The terms of the employee's telework arrangement will be established in accordance with the Directive on Telework and the Guidelines on Hybrid Work. These arrangements must be reviewed annually, at a minimum, and can be subject to change.

Duties

The Insurance supervision group is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Toronto office team in the position of Principal Analyst. The Principal Analyst is involved in the analysis and assessment of the risk profile and risk management practices of federally regulated life insurance and reinsurance financial institutions. The Principal Analyst will participate in assessments/reviews of significant activities and control functions and in ongoing monitoring and analysis of federally regulated financial institutions (institutions) , with emphasis on capital strength and current and emerging risks. They will interact with senior management and other key stakeholders at institutions and will work with OSFI's risk specialists. They will also participate in other projects as required.

Compensation: OSFI offers a competitive salary, and employees may be eligible for in-range increases and economic adjustments. Salaries are based on qualifications, experience and knowledge. The Public Service Pension Plan is a defined benefit pension plan (indexed for inflation), where both the employer and the employee contribute.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
