Prepares social assessments and participates in inter-disciplinary teamwork and liaises with and obtains resources from community social health and welfare agencies. Clinical guidance/instruction is available from the Senior Therapist.QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training And ExperienceMasters of Social Work degree (MSW) from an accredited school of Social Work.Current full registration with the BC College of Social Workers.Two years recent related experience in a developmental paediatric setting or related field; experience with application of Family Centred practice; experience working with community agencies; working knowledge of acute health care, community living services and regional Ministry of Child & Family Development environments and of relevant legislation. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.Skills And Abilities
