Durham Association for Family Resources and Support (DFR) is seeking a
Social Research and Marketing Assistant
. You will be responsible for working with the Family Support team to research and provide basic analysis on relevant and current issues regarding family support for members with a developmental disability. You will also provide assistance with developing marketing materials for our new Bridges recruitment and matching platform.

The ideal candidate will possess and/or demonstrate:
General Responsibilities:
Marketing for Bridges platform (design & promotion)
Community Engagement - identify & engage key audiences
Light graphic design
Social media posts
Research (compile and develop)
Literature reviews
Interviews
Surveys
Capture findings
Compile summary information.
Complete written, verbal and/or video reports
Multi-media
Use a variety of communication strategies and applications to share findings.
Skills Development:
Communication (oral, written, multi-media)
Research methodologies.
Analysis
Self-management
Knowledge of the social services sector and related practices
