Potential Place Society in Calgary AB is seeking Social Recreation Facilitators for its Clubhouse, an accredited psycho-social rehabilitation service for adults living with mental illness. Our model emphasizes creation of a restorative community that works, plays, and heals together. Social Recreation in the community and in the Clubhouse is a vital element of our program.

The Position



This position has a focus on the

social and recreational needs

of our members. We are looking for someone who can champion fun and innovative activities that offer great opportunities for members to connect, learn something, explore something, or contribute something. Engaging members, seeking opportunities, and planning, promoting and facilitating events are all part of this rewarding role. We want you to help create memories!



This position will primarily support Wednesdays & Fridays 4:30 to 8:30 pm, Saturdays 10 am to 3 pm, and some Statutory holidays. Availability to support occasional days shifts during the week is helpful but not required.


Your Qualifications:




Bachelor's Degree in a human services, medical, or education field. Candidates in the process of acquiring a degree will be considered. At least 2 years' experience in supporting adults with serious mental health needs. Equivalencies will be considered.

Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record Recent Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector
