This role acts as a leader within the division in practicing research, engagement, data analysis, data visualization, policy analysis, evaluation and communications.The Social Planning Analyst undertakes a portfolio of work supporting the research and data needs of other teams in Social Policy and works collaboratively with staff leading and working on these teams, while also advancing division-wide priorities and identifying opportunities to streamline and support work across multiple portfolios. Portfolios may include work with any teams within Social Policy and Projects based on operational need, interest, and skills, and currently include: Healthy City Strategy, social indicators and trends, grants, youth safety, anti-racism and equity, accessibility, childcare, social infrastructure, food systems, community and gender safety, mental health and substance use, community economic development, and Indigenous community development.Specific Duties & Responsibilities
