Social Media Strategist and Video Content Creator Daily Blends is a food-tech Startup backed by the top VCs in Toronto, New York, and Silicon Valley. We are on a mission to make healthy, nutritious, high-quality food as accessible as a can of soda! We\'re building and operating a data-driven network of Smart Fridges that offer chef-inspired, fresh meals at affordable prices. We place these Smart Fridges at locations such as hospitals, college campuses, malls, residential complexes, office buildings, and transit hubs to make hand-crafted food and beverages accessible to everyone. About the Role: Do you have the creativity and energy of an Instagram or TikTok influencer/content creator? Are you keeping up with the latest trends and platform updates on social media? If you have a passion for making eye-catching videos that grab attention, we\xe2\x80\x99d like to meet you! This versatile content creator will use their skills to ideate, plan, record, edit, and publish video content built for Social Media (Instagram and TikTok). Responsibilities for this role:

• You will lead content strategy to help users understand our products by leveraging social media. Develop fresh concepts that engage and convey value to our consumers.
• Think outside the box, and challenge your creative abilities to come up with engaging ideas to showcase the Daily Blends brand.
• With an overall goal of building a community, be responsible for creating, reviewing, editing, and publishing daily content.
• Conduct keyword research and employ SEO best practices to optimize content
• Bring new ideas and concepts to brainstorm sessions, involving sequences and progression of story on a regular basis.
• Keep yourself updated on hot industry-related topics and trends
• Create various content types (videos, articles, infographics) with relevant tone and style, adhering to the respective style guides
• Ensure video standards and consistency are met for all video content that is developed
• Strong understanding of video editing, color correction and audio mixing

Qualifications:

• Experienced, at least 2+ years of experience as a video creator and/or editor
• Experience working with professional video cameras, audio equipment and grip/lighting gear. (Must have own camera and equipment to perform the job)
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, Lightroom and Photoshop
• Social media and blog content creation experience on Instagram, TikTok, Youtube.
• A portfolio of publications and/or social media work performed.
• Working experience in Copywriting or Graphic Designing would be an asset.
• Good knowledge of SEO Principles.
• Ability to take creative initiative when given a rough concept
• Strong communication and organization skills with the ability to manage timelines
• Keen eye for detail and ability to accept and apply feedback
• Proven ability to create and market unique content
• Excellent writing and editing skills (business, article, creative, etc.)
• Content curation, development, and marketing with management of all content and an overall strategy for content creation.
• Digital advertising, marketing analytics experience
• The ability and aptitude for storytelling, storytelling through the lens.
• Self-directed problem solver; proactive and resourceful
• Experience in the CPG, or F&B industry is an asset
• Ability to travel to various locations within GTA as needed

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year Benefits:
