Job Description

Our beauty marketing agency is currently seeking a

Social Media Manager

who is passionate about creating compelling content that increases brand visibility and drives lead generation. This part-time role is ideal for someone who excels at transforming creative concepts into high-performing content strategies, with a focus on delivering measurable results and expanding our client base within the permanent makeup and medical spa niche.

As our Social Media Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and growing Lavenir's social media presence -- developing strategic content plans, editing short-form video, scheduling and posting content, and engaging with our online community.

Responsibilities:



Content Strategy & Planning:

Develop and implement strategic content plans that align with Lavenir's brand objectives and marketing goals.

Trend & Market Research:

Conduct ongoing research to stay ahead of industry trends, emerging platforms, and competitor activities to inform and enhance our social media.

Short-Form Video Creation:

Produce and edit engaging short-form videos (e.g., Reels) to captivate our target audience and drive brand awareness.

Graphic & Carousel Design:

Design and edit high-quality static visuals, including carousel posts and graphics, using tools like Canva to maintain a cohesive brand aesthetic.

Caption Writing:

Craft compelling, on-brand captions that resonate with our audience and encourage engagement.

Community Engagement:

Actively connect with our online community by commenting to build relationships and encourage meaningful interaction.

Performance Monitoring:

Track and analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of content strategies, making data-driven adjustments to optimize reach and engagement.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the internal team to ensure all content aligns with and supports overarching brand objectives.

Requirements:



2+ years of experience in social media marketing

, with a strong background in collaborating with agencies, digital creators or online course providers, particularly in the beauty, wellness, or lifestyle sectors.

Proficient in Instagram and TikTok

, including platform-specific best practices and strategies.

Strong storytelling skills

, adept at creating compelling narratives that engage audiences and convey the brand's message effectively.

Skilled in video editing

using tools such as CapCut, Final Cut, Adobe Premiere, or similar, to create engaging Reels and Stories.

Exceptional content ideation and copywriting abilities

, crafting on-brand narratives and captions that resonate with target audiences.

Excellent communication skills

, capable of working independently while meeting deadlines and collaborating effectively with teams.

Passion for beauty, branding, and content creation

, with a strong commitment to educating audiences and driving lead generation through engaging and informative content.
