About the role: Westside Pest Control is seeking a creative, strategic, and driven Social Media Manager to join our team. You will be in charge of leading the company\xe2\x80\x99s social media efforts, which includes the entire social media strategy, content calendar creation, campaign planning, and execution of the plan. We see this role as you being part of the team, working very closely with the marketing manager and CEO. The role primarily involves 3 major functions; Social Media Management, Meta Ads Management, Video & Graphic Design. As the voice for the company online, you will be in charge of engaging our audience, growing our social presence, and driving the kind of buzz that keeps both pests and the competition at bay!! Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our company goals, focusing on audience engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation.
• Content Creation: Develop and curate compelling content, including text, images, videos, and infographics, to effectively communicate our brand message and values. Focus on the 4 primary platforms; Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, & YouTube.
• Meta Ads Management: Plan and execute Meta Ads campaigns to promote the company\'s services, grow the brand presence, and engage users in our content. Includes boosting of posts via the Meta Business Suite
• Community engagement: Increasing the brand\xe2\x80\x99s social engagement by responding to Facebook and Instagram comments and messages, on organic and paid posts, in a timely manner.
• Create and manage a social media calendar which is tied into the overall Marketing calendar for campaign and tactical alignment
• Monitor, track, and report on social media. Providing regular reports and insights to management on what is working and what can be improved
• Graphic design - create assets to be used on social media and website. Includes supporting the marketing team with graphic creation for our website, Google Profile, email marketing, and other channels when required.
• Short form video creation - Producing engaging short-form videos for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram Reels. Our team will provide videos which need to be edited/produced and made ready for publishing.
• Marketing support - from time to time we also need support with designing mailchimp campaigns, posting promotions to Yelp Local, and posting to Google Business Profile.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
• Experience with Meta Ads, creating and managing campaigns to achieve both brand awareness and lead generation goals
• Excellent knowledge of main social platforms; Facebook, Instagram, & TikTok.
• Proficient in creating short form videos for social channels
• Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach.
