Detour Studios is a young, fast-paced social media agency specializing in short-form content creation. We manage 10+ active clients across industries like restaurants, cafes, brands, and startups.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We're on the hunt for a Social Media Coordinator/Strategist who's obsessed with content. From researching trends to scripting skits to publishing on IG Reels and TikTok you'll be involved in the entire social pipeline.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Research and brainstorm content ideas for client brands
• Write engaging, on-brand scripts for TikTok/Instagram content
• Assist on set with filming logistics and coordination
• Post and schedule content
• Track basic analytics and brainstorm improvements
• Attend internal creative meetings and strategy sessions

WHO YOU ARE

• You're creative, resourceful, and up-to-date on TikTok/IG trends
• You love writing and know how to speak Gen Z (or want to learn)
• You're collaborative and comfortable in a dynamic environment
• You're hungry to grow and thrive in a young, supportive team

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum: CEGEP diploma or in-progress University/DEC in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Experience in social media or content creation is preferred but not required
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Bonus: You've made content for a brand or personal TikTok/IG before
