Overview
We are seeking a creative, organized, and results-driven Social Media & Content Specialist to manage and grow the online presence of our five brands. This role involves creating engaging content, maintaining consistent branding, scheduling posts, running campaigns, and monitoring performance across platforms. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with a passion for storytelling, community engagement, and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Branding
Develop original content (graphics, reels, posts, stories, blog-style updates) tailored to each brand's voice and audience.
Maintain brand consistency across all channels.
Take photos and videos for daily, weekly, monthly posts to insta, facebook, and tik tok
Capture and edit photos/videos when needed.
Social Media Management
Manage and post regularly to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn (where relevant).
Create and manage content calendars for all five brands.
Respond to messages, comments, and inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
Monitor trends and adapt content strategy accordingly.
Campaigns & Growth
Plan and execute seasonal marketing campaigns, promotions, and event highlights.
Run paid social ads and track ROI.
Collaborate with leadership and operations teams to highlight projects, services, and community involvement.
Analytics & Reporting
Track and analyze performance of social media posts and campaigns.
Provide monthly reports with insights and recommendations for growth.
Adjust strategies based on engagement and data-driven feedback.
Qualifications
Proven experience managing multiple social media accounts for brands/businesses.
Strong design and editing skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools).
Knowledge of digital marketing best practices, social media algorithms, and paid ad platforms.
Excellent writing, grammar, and communication skills.
Highly organized and able to juggle multiple brands with different audiences.
Photography/videography skills are A must
Work Style
Can work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Comfortable collaborating with a team and taking direction from business owners.
Flexible and able to adapt tone and strategy across different industries (events, landscaping, festival, accounting, lifestyle).
Position Details
Type:
Part-time to start, with potential to grow into full-time.
Location:
Remote/flexible, with some in-person content capture in Muskoka and surrounding areas.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly based on experience.
