We are seeking a Social Media Content Creator to join our team located in Toronto, Ontario. In this role, you will be expected to create engaging content for our social media platforms, manage our digital assets, and track social media trends to help shape our online presence.Responsibilities:Copy/Content Development
- Write compelling copy for various media (social, we bsite, print) through creative and strategic storytelling in adherence with brand guidelines
- Maintain an editorial calendar and contribute ideas to overall content and social media strategy; you will be a strong advocate for deadlines
- Take ownership of monthly company newsletter
- Work with other members of the digital marketing team to build a blog content strategy and produce engaging blogs on a consistent basis
- Collaborate with internal and external creative teams (photographers, graphic designers) on content creation for various campaigns
- Organize and manage content into a user-friendly library for Marketing department
- Work with all members of Marketing department to maintain internal documents, including but not limited to Standard Operating Procedures, policies, contracts
- Assist the Marketing team with content needs for the annual catalogue and provide curated photographs for use in the catalogue

- Take ownership of social media planning and develop and execute the company\'s social media strategy
- Build a content calendar for Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, and implement the social media plan with engaging, informative and on-brand organic content and creatives
- Create video content for use on various social channels
- Engage with the design community online and identify SUNPAN products featured on other channels; curate third-party images for social media
- Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns to support sales promotions and drive engagement
- Monitor and analyze social media and community engagement metrics to optimize performance
- Monitor and understand competitor social media and communication strategies; provide reports of trending tactics- Valid passport - this role will travel multiple times throughout the year with the rest of the team to the US fo trade shows
- Social media portfolio to share with content examples with notable brands, showcasing strong visuals and aesthetics
- Social media trends/analytics, analytics, planning, strategy, calendar and content creation
- Asset management/organization - this role will manage digital assets regularly so it\'s important that the candidate has experience managing large volumes of imagery or video
- Strong content creation experience via Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
- Someone unafraid to jump in, take initiative and own a project end to end
- Showroom experience an asset!
- Video editing via Adobe Premiere Pro and video creation or animation experience an asset!
- Ability to meet deadlines and multi task multiple tasks at once
- Candidate desire to stay long term and grow with the team
- Ability to shoot content with a DSLR - a huge asset!
- Interest or passion in interior design or furniture a huge asset!
- Ability to get along with the team!
