Position Overview

We're looking for a

creative, detail-oriented Social Media Assistant

to help grow our brand presence across TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, and Google My Business. You'll work closely with our Social Media Manager to plan, film, edit, and post content that drives engagement, store visits, and online sales.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with

content creation

-- filming, editing, and posting on TikTok, Instagram Reels, Pinterest, and YouTube Shorts. Capture

in-store videos

and highlight new arrivals, trends, and behind-the-scenes moments. Support daily posting on

Google My Business

(photos, updates, short videos). Engage with followers: reply to comments, DMs, and tags to build community. Help brainstorm new content ideas, seasonal campaigns, and viral trends. Maintain content calendars and assist with scheduling posts. Track performance analytics and report key trends to the Social Media Manager.

Requirements

Passion for fashion, social media, and video content. Strong knowledge of TikTok and Instagram Reels (bonus if you use CapCut or similar tools). Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail. Basic video editing and photography skills. Comfortable working on-site at our Toronto location for filming and content days. Previous experience in retail or social media is an asset but not required.

Schedule

5 days per week (including some Saturdays for content filming). Flexible hours depending on campaigns and social media schedules.
