Overview


We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media and Communications consultant to join our psychology practice on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing and a strong understanding of social media platforms, online branding, and Wix website creation/maintenance. This role requires proficiency in graphic design and content creation, as well as the ability to analyze performance metrics to drive engagement and growth across various channels, including the development and management of effective Google ad campaigns.

This position is intended to be onsite, but a hybrid arrangement may also be possible. We are initially hiring for a 3 month term, but there is opportunity for the term and number of hours to be expanded if the fit is good. Duties



Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive traffic to our practice website. Create engaging content for various social media platforms, possibly including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Utilize appropriate tools for scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing performance metrics. Conduct keyword research and optimize content for SEO to improve organic reach. Design visually appealing graphics using tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator that align with brand guidelines. Collaborate with team members to ensure cohesive messaging Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy; recommend adjustments as needed. Proofread all content before publication to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand voice. Utilize Google Analytics to track website traffic from social media campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications



Proven experience in social media creation and management Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and keyword research techniques. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for graphic design tasks. Familiarity with social media management tools Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail in proofreading content. Ability to analyze data using Google Analytics to inform strategy decisions. Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for engaging content. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
