Snowboard Instructor - Toddler Program (Ages 19 Months-4 Years)

Program Dates:

January 24 - February 15 (4 weeks)

Schedule:

Saturdays: 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM Sundays: 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM
First Weekend will take place indoors at East Gwillimbury sports complex and following three weekends at Fairy Lake in Newmarket.

Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and fun

Snowboard Instructor

to help lead our toddler snowboard program for children aged

19 months to 4 years

. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about snowboarding and loves introducing the sport to young children in a fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate way.

As an instructor, you will create a positive first experience on snow, focusing on play-based learning, confidence-building, and basic movement skills while working closely with toddlers and their families.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, age-appropriate snowboard instruction using play-based methods Create a safe, encouraging, and fun learning environment for toddlers Assist children with equipment, balance, and basic snowboarding movements Communicate clearly and positively with parents and caregivers Follow all safety protocols Work collaboratively with program staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications

CASI Level 1 Certification (required)

Experience working with toddlers or young children (19 months-4 years) preferred Patient, energetic, and engaging personality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for snowboarding and introducing the sport to young learners Ability to work outdoors in winter conditions
Commitment

Must be available for the full program duration (January 24 - February 15) and potential make up week on Feb 21/22 Reliable attendance for all scheduled weekend sessions
