We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Snow Shoveler to assist with winter snow removal duties. This role is essential for maintaining safe and accessible pathways, driveways, and outdoor areas during snowstorms and winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment related to snow removal and landscape maintenance.
Duties
Clear snow from walkways, driveways, parking lots, and other designated outdoor areas using shovels, snow blowers, and other mechanical tools.
Assist with ice management by applying salt or sand as needed to prevent slips and falls.
Operate light machinery or construction equipment when necessary for larger snow removal projects.
Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and uphold safety standards.
Skills
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical knowledge is preferred.
Knowledge of landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, or irrigation systems is advantageous.
Ability to operate snow removal equipment such as shovels, snow blowers, and salt spreaders safely.
Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in cold weather conditions.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Attention to safety protocols to prevent accidents during snow removal operations.
