Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Snow Shovelers. In this role, you will be responsible for clearing snow from various surfaces to ensure safe access for pedestrians and vehicles. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment during winter weather conditions.

Duties

• Clear snow from sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and other designated areas using shovels and snow removal equipment.
• Operate power tools as needed for efficient snow removal.
• Dig out areas that may be heavily snowed in or obstructed.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition to ensure optimal performance.
• If unable to meet at shop in Rockland can be pick up at Place D'Orleans park and ride
• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks in spring , summer and fall.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries while performing duties.

Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to snow removal and landscape maintenance.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Ability to dig effectively in various conditions, ensuring thorough snow clearance.
• Experience with irrigation systems is a plus for maintaining landscapes during winter months.
• Strong organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently during busy weather events.
• A background in landscape maintenance or gardening is beneficial but not required.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week
