is a multi-service and season landscaping and maintenance company in the nation's capital focused on providing quality service.

We are currently seeking Commercial Shovelers and Snow Blower Operators for the Winter season!

SEEKING FULL TIME ON-CALL & SPARE LABOURERS.

Schedule:

This is a seasonal position from approximately

November 1, 2025 until April 15, 2026.

(Summer work available after the winter season.) Shifts are on an

on-call

basis and hours vary depending on the weather (8-16 hour shifts). You

MUST

be available

24/7

, including weekends and holidays, and be able to respond to dispatch on short notice. Hourly pay, no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities:

Clearing snow/ice from walkways, driveways, and parking lots using shovels or snow blowers. Ensuring that all areas are properly cleared and free of snow and ice. Safely operating snow removal equipment and following all safety guidelines. Applying ice melt or salt to prevent slippery conditions. Communicating with supervisors or team members to coordinate snow removal efforts.

Requirements:

Must be available 24/7, Saturday to Sunday. Must have a cell phone with minutes and data. Must hold a valid driver licence and clean abstract for driving roles. Must have reliable transportation to get to our shop near Hawthorne and Leitrim. Ability to work in cold and potentially hazardous weather conditions. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads (minimum 50lb). Previous experience in snow removal is a plus, but not required. Can work independently and as a team.

Notes:

Pay is based skill, experience, reliability and position offered. You can expect large commercial and/or municipal sites for winter maintenance operations. Please note that this position is seasonal and dependent on weather conditions. Optional summer landscaping positions available post winter season. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
