Snow Removal Walkway Crew Member

Job Description

Spartan Snow Services is a general contracting and civil/landscape construction company servicing the GTA and surrounding areas. We also offer our clients comprehensive packages for commercial grounds maintenance. Spartan Snow is currently looking to add a Snow Removal Labourer to grow with us as a team member. This position requires on-call availability 24/7.

We have full time, year-round positions open as well as seasonal placements for this winter.

QUALIFICATIONS



High school diploma, GED or equivalent

Ability to carry out physical activity outdoors in cold weather

Ability to prioritize and multi-task

Highly motivated, self- driven and detail oriented

Punctual and reliable!!!

RESPONSIBILITIES



Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times

Ensure that all safety rules and company safety policies are adhered to

Shop tool and equipment maintenance activities as assigned

Communicate well with all crew members and supervisor

Track and record all job expenses and hours worked accurately

Clear walkways and other areas as required by hand (shovel, snow blower, etc

Apply de-icing agents as required

COMPENSATION



Based on experience ($22.50-30.00)

Standby based on experience and attendance

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.50-$30.00 per hour

Richmond Hill, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:

snow removal: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (required)
Work Location: In person
