Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient snow removal operations during winter weather conditions. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and mechanical knowledge, as well as the ability to operate various equipment effectively.

Compensation

$20.00 - $22.50 per hour

, depending on experience

Guaranteed minimum of $1,000.00 per month

during active winter months

Mileage reimbursement:

$0.50 per km when using your own vehicle for travel between job sites All necessary materials (ice melt, shovels if needed) provided

Responsibilities

Shovel snow from residential driveways, walkways, and sidewalks Apply ice melt when required (provided by the company) Maintain a clean and safe work area Send photos of completed jobs to the supervisor after each site Communicate with dispatch or supervisor upon job completion Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.

Experience

Previous experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators is preferred. Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices, including gardening, horticulture, and irrigation systems is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment. Experience in construction or related fields is beneficial.
