Job Summary

Absolute Landscaping is looking to expand our quality control/sidewalk crews for the '25-'26 winter months. The proper candidate must be reliable and possess a valid G drivers license. Hours will vary depending on snow fall - weekends and evenings/nights will be necessary. Candidate must be able to work individually or in a team setting. Company truck and all safety equipment provided. Punctuality and a good work ethic are a must. We provide winter service solely in the Bracebridge area with our focus on only in town commercial properties. We can offer a flexible pay schedule to the candidate who meets the above requirements. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled snow removal personelle to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for clearing snow and ice from sidewalks and designated areas to ensure safe passage for pedestrians during winter weather conditions and a final quality control report of all commercial properties.

Responsibilities

Operate truck and snow equipment efficiently and safely to remove snow and ice from various surfaces. Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing weather patterns to maintain clear pathways. Perform routine maintenance checks on snow equipment to ensure optimal performance. Supervise a team of workers during snow removal operations, providing guidance and support as needed. Coordinate with management to prioritize areas requiring immediate attention based on traffic patterns and safety concerns. Maintain accurate records of snow removal activities, including hours worked and materials used.

Experience

Previous snow experience is preferred. Proven leadership skills with experience supervising teams in a fast-paced setting. Ability to work long hours during adverse weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
