We are looking to fill

part-time

position(s) on our winter

Snow Removal

Crew

.

Our goal is to find

two

reliable people who can commit to working throughout the winter as a

MAIN crew member - available to work every time it snows - any day of the week.

Additional

candidates are also required for our

"extra call out list" when heavy snowfall presents and more help is needed or to fill in if a main crew member is unable to work. (This is more suitable for people who are only available to work certain days of the week).

Term of employment

is from

November 1 until March 31

in all winter conditions.

Days and hours of work will vary

and you will

only

be

required to work when there is new snowfall.

Must be available

to start work

early in the morning

and work until mid afternoon or later (depending on amount of snow). You may be

called in to work on short notice

. A

reliable phone

to receive

text messages

and/or phone calls is required.

Drivers license

and/or the

ability to get to work on time

in the morning

is a must

. Upon arrival in the morning all crew members will then ride together in company truck.*
Shovels and any other equipment needed, is provided by employer. Applicants should be

fit, strong

and

physically able

to shovel heavy snow for extended periods, in all winter conditions.

Warm winter clothing and footwear is required. Enjoying being outside and working in the snow/cold will make the job more enjoyable.

Not suitable for college or high school students who have classes Monday - Friday.*
