We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient snow removal operations during winter weather conditions. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various types of snow removal equipment effectively. The Snow Plow Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining clear roadways and pathways, contributing to the safety of our community.

Duties

• Operate snow removal equipment
• Drivers license required
• Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing situations.
• Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for additional snow removal tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts effectively.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding equipment status and any issues encountered during operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating machinery in winter conditions.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
• Experience in landscape maintenance is a plus, including skills in irrigation, gardening, and building.
• Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools for various tasks.
• Ability to dig and perform manual labor as required during snow removal operations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends during inclement weather events.
• A valid driver's license is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
