Snow Removal Equipment Operator

Job Description
Leahey's is a local company that provides commercial and municipal snow removal in HRM. We have snow removal positions for:
1- EQUIPMENT OPERATORS
Operators will run heavy equipment for municipal snow removal operations.
2- TRUCK DRIVER - CLASS 3 WITH AIR BRAKE
Truck driver will drive truck and deliver salt to machines on the route during storms. When not snowing driver will haul salt from the mine.
Requirements/skills:
valid drivers license
clean drivers abstract
previous snow removal experience (an asset)
ability to safely run equipment
ability to complete required safety paperwork
working cell phone
communicate well with all staff
weather dependent/ability to work on call (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
We offer competitive hourly pay and winter bonuses.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Casual
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
