Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Snow Removal Crew Lead to oversee winter snow and ice management operations. This role involves leading a team to efficiently clear snow from residential and commercial properties, ensuring safety and accessibility during winter months. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience with various landscaping and maintenance equipment. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, coordinating daily snow removal tasks while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Duties

Lead and supervise a team of snow removal technicians during snow and ice events Operate and maintain equipment such as snow plows, salt spreaders, excavators, and power tools Ensure timely and efficient snow clearing on driveways, walkways, parking lots, and other designated areas Perform routine maintenance on landscaping and snow removal equipment to ensure optimal operation Coordinate with clients to prioritize areas of service and address specific needs Monitor weather conditions to plan daily operations effectively Assist with other landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, mowing, tree trimming, irrigation, hardscape installation, gardening, horticulture, and general property upkeep as needed Enforce safety protocols for team members and ensure compliance with all safety regulations

Qualifications

Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, or snow plowing operations Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, excavators, and other landscaping equipment Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively under pressure Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including tree care, irrigation systems, hardscape projects, and gardening practices Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators and perform equipment repairs or troubleshooting Familiarity with safety standards related to construction, landscaping, and snow removal operations Excellent communication skills for coordinating team activities and client interactions Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions during early mornings or evenings as required

This position is paid by Salary. Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
