Snow & Ice Control Operator

DEPARTMENT:

Winter Snow and Salting Services

SUMMARY:

Boffo Landscaping Inc. is looking for hard working, punctual, dependable and motivated individuals with an excellent work ethic. Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years snow plowing and/or salting experience (with flexibility for increased training). This position is "full-time" seasonal with the potential for year-round employment and an opportunity for future growth and advancement in this field.

REQUIREMENTS, JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Effectively and safely operate company trucks and/or machines required for winter snow and ice control services - i.e. snow plowing & removal services and salting services.

Ensure safe use and operation of all equipment and machines (includes vehicle inspection reports, and periodic equipment inspections - i.e. oil changes, minor repairs and service and repairs, cleaning, etc.).

Must arrive to work in a timely fashion according to the demands of various weather conditions.

Must be a "team player" dedicated to achieving both crew and company goals. Perform other related duties, as assigned, that are in accordance with job responsibilities or necessary department and corporate objectives. Learn, uphold, understand, and respect the rules and regulations as outlined in the company's "Corporate Policy Manual" and "Safety Manual".

Must have a high school diploma and possess minimum 3-5 years experience with snow plowing and/or salting. Candidates must have a valid "G" license (at the minimum) and a clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from work.
