Snow Plow Driver-


DZ/AZ Licensed Operator(s)


Part-Time and Full-Time









PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION:

The Operator is responsible for maintaining



contracted assets (roadways, medians, signs, guardrails, fences, bridges, tunnels, vegetation, etc.) through operation/use of heavy equipment, particularly during seasonal needs (i.e. snow plow operations), and any other needs per the contract requirements.





This position requires a highly developed sense of safety awareness and perceptive ability. You must have the ability to recognize hazards inherent in routine and non-routine tasks and make adjustment to avoid loss, injury or accident.





You must be able to communicate safety instructions, be able to think clearly and



focus on your safety in immediate surroundings while using tools and equipment. Operators are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriate to your job.




RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS:




High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years related work experience in related construction, road maintenance, commercial/industrial repair and operating equipment through use of DZ license Valid Ontario Class DZ driver's license and acceptable driving record AZ license is an asset Excellent problem-solving skills. Exceptional customer service skills. Effective communication skills.
