SMT Operator

Reports To:

Production Supervisor

Department:

SMT

Shift:

7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Set-up and teardown of SMT placement equipment as instructed by shift supervisor Hand place SMT parts prior to reflow - when required Assist QA inspectors with first article inspections. When required provide support to other SMT operators. Audit kits delivered from Inventory. Point of use inventory control - part picking and put away Perform basic maintenance of workstations and equipment as instructed by shift supervisor

Qualifications:

Mechanical skills Ability and willing to learn SMT set-up Basic SMT skills is an asset Ability to lift about 20 lbs Basic communication skills in both written and oral English
