We are currently hiring for SMT Set up and line operators for a busy and thriving electronics manufacturing facility in Markham.

Job Title: SMT Operator

Pay rate: $17-18/hr + 11% weekend shift premium OR $0.50 afternoon shift premium

Shift time: 6 PM - 6:30 AM Friday through Sunday OR 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM Monday through Friday

Location: Warden Road and Highway 7 (nearest major intersection) Markham

Ongoing contract to hire position

Responsibilities

• Setup and operation of surface mount pick and place machines.
• Setup and operation of automatic and semi-automatic stencil printers.
• Setup and operation of mass reflow ovens.
• Perform manual component placement and inspection.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Perform detailed quality inspection of populated circuit boards.

Qualifications
What do you need to qualify?

• Fantastic attitude
• Availability for immediate start
• SMT set up/line operation experience is mandatory
• Owns CSA approved steel toed safety shoes
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs repetitively
