Who HugoMB Contracting Is

We are a civil contracting company whose main focus is primarily building bridges and dams. We are located in Milton but operate throughout the province of Ontario. We are looking to grow our team with people who share our values of performing quality workmanship, having integrity in their daily actions, and have a problem solving attitude. Remuneration

$26.00 - $34.00/hour with 50 - 60 hours/week expected Company provided accommodations and live out allowance for out of town jobs Vacation Pay, health benefits, boot allowance, and pension (Building Union of Canada)

Perform a variety of tasks including setting forms, pour and vibrate concrete, finish concrete, strip forms. Operate variety of equipment as needed from time to time (backhoe, skid steer, excavator) Assists other workers with general labor activities when required. Work with a variety of hand tool, power tools, and equipment in the civil construction industry. Adapt easily to different construction techniques.

Requirements

Must be able to work 50 hours/week. Must be able to work 50+ hours and Saturdays if required. Must be dependable in attendance. Must have 5 years of skilled laborer experience. 3 years bridge construction experience preferred. Reliable vehicle to get to jobsite preferred. Personal hand tools required (toolbelt, hammer, measuring tape, etc.). Personal power tools preferred (skill saw, drill, etc.) Able to think critically and problem solve and take ownership of own work. A positive attitude and willingness to work as a part of a team. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Safety minded and aware of hazards on the project sites. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Use of PPE required.
